COLUMBUS yachts
The Palumbo family founded Columbus Yachts in 1967. Three generations have expanded the company to now include several shipyards and create top-of-the-line luxury yachts.
They have shipyards all over the Mediterranean, including Ancona, Malta, Marseille, Naples, and Savona. The Palumbo’s are experienced yachtsmen and interact directly with clients on their needs and specifications.
The company began as a small Mediterranean carpentry and welding shop. In 2008, the family expanded their operations with the finest exterior and interior yacht designers to create the Columbus Yacht Company. The shipyard released its first yacht in 2011, titled “PRIMA.”
Since that launch, the company has continued to launch luxury superyacht lines that include a more recent hybrid and eco-friendly yacht design.
The yacht has proved very popular amongst young and older yachters, with its features that include limiting fuel consumption and dangerous toxins.
The shipyard now offers four yacht lines, Atlantique, Crossover, Sport, and Classic, in addition to building fully custom vessels.
The company boasts several generations’ worth of experience, craftsmanship, and know-how in developing top-class quality craftsmanship and sophistication.
The company produced superyachts through their superyacht division, Palumbo Superyachts. This company also operates ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Mondomarine, Extra Yachts, and Palumbo SY Refit.
