The owner of I DYNASTY was Alijan Ibragimov, a billionaire based in Kazakhstan. He died in February 2021, and the superyacht is a part of his estate.
He had the I DYNASTY commissioned to replace the 59m Benetti yacht that featured the same name.
Forbes reports that Ibragimov had a net worth of $2.3 billion, thanks to being a part-owner of the mining and metals firm Eurasian Resources Group (ERG).
